The Flat-Spot was started in 2014 as a beta project to see if there was any need for a judgement free resource focused on the preservation and maintenance of historic 1928-1954 Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln Flathead engines. It was clear that what we’re doing was helping people and gaining traction in the hobby. We’re now the largest Flathead support group on Facebook, and we’re quickly gaining traction in other social media platforms. Always looking to expand our ability to offer our members more support and information. Looking to the future we’re excited to increase our ability to provide video’s that allow a hands-on tool for those that find the medium more helpful. If your anything like me I often find reading books more difficult than watching someone do the task before me. There is also plans in the works to convert the community into an Educational Non-Profit. Which we hope to achieve during 2021.
