This is a bit of a remix of the original film Mirror of America which I will be adding to our YouTube in the coming weeks. I am assembling the full film now from pieces I have found and was able to successfully find most if not all of the original 4-piece set. This shares a great segment of the film shot in 1914-1921 and assembled in the 1960s as a Ford Educational series.
Henry Ford was known for also being one of the leading news and film producers of his time. Most of the reels shown before a movie, in the movie theaters, were shot by his company and showed the world a vast range of what was going on outside of their own back yard. From Nature, travel, News, War, new technology, breakthroughs in science, to even just amazing people and heroes from around the nation.
