THE FLAT-SPOT

I would like to thank all of you for supporting our group. This has been a dream of mine for well over 10+ years to create something that allows people like me to speak to professionals and hobbyists at any time and get solutions to problems that before would be countless hours of reading in hopes that you would find something that might help.

The Flat-Spot is now a couple months old and we have really seen massive growth. Our group is one of the largest public flathead groups on Facebook. With continued growth we might just make this more than just a Facebook page. With the help of my buddy and admin Toney Marthaller, owner of RIP Customs, we’re working to bring some more fun to the group. Here’s a brief list of what your donations and purchases will help us do in the coming months.

The Flat-Spot will be copyrighted
We plan to pay a professional artist with a generous donation by RIP Customs to create a standard Flat-Spot V8 logo for the group.
The logo will in turn be used on t-shirts and other products to display your Flat-Spot pride.
If we find the demand I might pay the same artist to create a 4-banger version of the same logo.
Proceeds will be used to advertise the group and bring new members, because more members means more information for all of us.
Based on donations we hope to start offering contests and prizes to our members.

There are a few other things I have in mind and Toney always has great ideas. We hope to make The Flat-Spot one of the best resources and places for flathead builders on the web.
