I have been lucky enough to keep in touch with Jack over the years. I was only a kid of 19 when I first found his shop and placed my first order. Since then I have been fascinated with his company, his amazing racing history and I have treasured the chance to get to know “Flathead Jack” Schafer. He has been beyond kind to send us the following information for our archive. This will be a work in progress. But we’re going to start putting up the items we have been graced with from his collection. I hope you enjoy and return to see how this archive grows and expands. As more has been reported to be sent in the coming months.
It is honestly kind of weird if you don’t know about Jack… But he was pretty famous for his Full Race Chili, Meatloaf, and Stew. But for those that want to keep the tradition going, here are images of the cards he would include in his shipments, with the receipt.
Pretty sure he would love it if you gave it a shot.

“Jack Sez”
The one thing that made Jack really stand out was the fact that his catalogs always included some very helpful tips for flathead guys to learn and grow from. Here are just some of the ones that made it into catalogs or where included in shipments with the items you purchased.
